Buzz Shut Out Flyers
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz got a magnificent performance from pitcher Manny Amici, who stifled the Pennsauken offense en route to a 3-0 Buzz win at Spirits Stadium. Pang Qin nailed down his 2nd save. The Buzz, at 24-19, lead by one game in their division.
In the bottom of the second, Scott Ramsey hit a 3-run home run for Salt Lake City. The 4th home run of the season for the Salt Lake City first baseman put the Buzz on top, 3-0.
"We had a good game plan," Amici said, "and we were able to execute it."
