Flyers Beat Racers, 8-4

The Pennsauken Flyers downed the Indianapolis Racers, 8-4, at Speedway Field. Rafael Barrueco led the way, going 4-for-6 for Pennsauken. Dong-hua Hao earned the win for Pennsauken. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 1. With the win, he raised his record to 2-2. Jules Goux earned the save, his 3rd, for the Flyers.
Pennsauken used the timely hitting of Michael Cochran to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Flyers ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was an important one.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Cochran said.
The second-place Flyers now have a win-loss record of 13-9.
