Sioux Falls right fielder Ramón Morterero was sensational. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Augusta beat the Red Pandas, 6-5. Morterero was named the player of the game despite the loss. Wesley Mason, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. "You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pinto told the Augusta Daily.
