Multi-HR Day for Schuilenberg as Flyers Overpower Buzz, 4-2
|
The Pennsauken Flyers saddled the Salt Lake City Buzz with a loss at Pennsauken Park. The final score was 4-2. Kasper Schuilenberg, named player of the game, was 3 for 4, including 1 single and 2 home runs. The Pennsauken catcher scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Joshua Neal got the win, improving to 1-1. He held the Buzz to no earned runs on 2 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Getting the save was Okura Yamasaki, his 4th.
Early in the game, Schuilenberg had a 2-run home run for Pennsauken. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Flyers on top, 2-0.
"I like what I saw today," said Pennsauken manager Willis Crawford, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
Losses have been few and far between for the Buzz, who are now 11-3.
