Red Pandas Deal Timber Hawks 7-4 Setback
|
Sioux Falls designated hitter Rick Mayfield was a significant contributor in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Augusta Timber Hawks. He went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Sioux Falls. Anderson O'Mara recorded his 1st save for Sioux Falls. The loss drops Augusta to 0-2.
Early in the game, Mayfield had a grand slam home run for Sioux Falls. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Red Pandas on top, 4-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Mayfield told the Sioux Falls Observer.
