Lakers Need Extras to Top Divided
|
Echo Park starter Jordan Calhoun had a strong outing against the D.C. Divided at Washington Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. The loss drops D.C. to 8-11.
Echo Park used the timely hitting of Kyu-cheol Kye to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Lakers ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Calhoun.
