The Panama City Piranhas had no problem beating the D.C. Divided, 11-1, at The Tank. Ben Boston led the way. He went 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for Panama City. With the win, Panama City pushes its record to 9-8.
Boston contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Panama City in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Boston took a fastball from Tom McKee and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Piranhas to leap in front, 3-1.
D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
