The Houston 1837 BBC relied on the hitting of third baseman Bill Dixon to stop the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 6-4. For the game, Dixon went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Losses have been few and far between for the Mockingbirds so far this season.
