Outlaws Win at San Mateo, 6-3
|
The San Mateo Dirty Reds got a sterling performance from pitcher CB Huntington, but the Outlaws still prevailed, 6-3. Huntington was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. Lex Janssen picked up the save, his 6th. Nashville now sits at 47-52, while San Mateo falls to 49-50.
The Outlaws grabbed the lead in the top of the second. With one out, Javier Sierra hit a 2-run home run off CB Huntington, putting Nashville in front, 2-1. For Sierra, it was his 6th home run of the season.
