Craig Woods was instrumental in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. The left fielder was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Ft. Worth occupies third place in the Silver League at 51-47.

With Ft. Worth leading 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth, Woods hit a sinker from Santiago Pérez for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Cattlemen ahead, 7-4.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Woods said.
