BC Lose to Voodoo, 8-3
|
A 4-RBI performance from Martín Talia, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in triples with 3, helped the New Orleans Voodoo beat the Philadelphia 1776 BC, 8-3. The BC fall to 7-14 and continue their lackluster start to the 2039 season.
New Orleans grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Talia, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in triples with 3, hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Voodoo out in front, 6-3.
Talia expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
