Dirty Reds Lose to Cattlemen in Walk Off
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen went home winners at The Cattle Pen, thanks in large part to starter Allen Werner. Werner silenced the San Mateo Dirty Reds, enabling Ft. Worth to grab the 2-1 win. Ft. Worth reliever Hiroaki Kouda picked up the win, upping his record to 4-4. James McNeil was saddled with the loss. The Cattlemen raised their record to 49-46.

Ft. Worth took a 2-1 lead on Daryl Yandell's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off San Mateo pitcher James McNeil in the bottom of the ninth.

"We take it day by day here," said Werner, "and today was a good one for us."
