Week's Premier Player: Greenport's Simmons Monday, June 7th, 2038 It was a fantastic week for Greenport third baseman Jerry Simmons and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the M3L Rookie Player of the Week Award. Last week Simmons hammered the ball at a torrid .625 pace, going 10-for-16 with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
