Hitting Streak Still Alive for Ku Tuesday, August 31st, 2038 The hitting streak for Amarillo shortstop Li-ren Ku now stands at 20 games, but the Submarinos dropped today's contest 3-2 to the Bompton Baby Lakers. Ku went 1-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Li-ren Ku struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Ku is currently batting .264 with 1 home run, 23 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 66 hits in 250 at-bats. |
