Quebec City-Moose Jaw Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, June 6th, 2038 If there wasn't a history between Dick Barnett of Quebec City and Calvin Bryant of Moose Jaw, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Barnett said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this year, Barnett is batting .240 with 1 home run and 11 RBIs. In 7 starts this year Bryant has recorded a 0-3 record and a 3.38 ERA. |
