SR Awards Most Valuable Player Award, Clark Gets Prize

Lewis N. Clark of the Surprise Shockers had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2038.

The 20-year-old center fielder put up a .330 average and a .396 on-base percentage, piling up 121 hits, 31 doubles, 4 triples, 8 home runs, 54 RBIs and 50 runs scored.

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Jaime Burgos of the Ladue Rams finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Bob Arrington of the Montgomery Biscuits finished third.
