Lesley Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, September 2nd, 2038 Ernest Lesley went 3-for-5 in the 7-4 Surprise Shockers victory over the Ladue Rams at Ballpark of Wellsville today. Lesley declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Ernest Lesley singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. In this current campaign Lesley is hitting at a .310 clip with 3 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
