Clark Takes SR's Best Bat Award Wednesday, September 1st, 2038 When Lewis N. Clark stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USSL Rookie Batter of the Month award. The young Surprise center fielder posted a .392 batting average with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 14 runs. Clark also worked pitchers for 10 walks to post a .473 on-base percentage. During the current season Clark is batting at a .328 clip with 7 home runs and 53 RBIs. He has played in 90 games and scored 49 times. |
