Thursday, August 12th, 2038
Doctors in Hicksville said Hiroshige Yamada might not play anymore this year. The Hounds shortstop suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament during a game against the Moose Jaw Canucks and will be out for at least 8 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

Yamada has collected 85 hits for the Hounds this year, 1 of them home runs. He has also netted 27 RBIs and scored 34 runs while batting .281.
