Fire End Carson's Streak Wednesday, August 11th, 2038 Lady Luck was not on the side of Chris Carson or his teammates today at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Everything went the way of the Franklin Fire, who not only came away with the 4-0 victory over Montgomery, but also held Carson hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 24-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Carson said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." So far this year Carson is batting .295 with 1 home run. |
