Childs Blisters Moose Jaw Friday, August 21st, 2037 Montgomery center fielder Fraser Childs had a big day at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today against the Moose Jaw Canucks. The 18-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Biscuits to a 9-2 triumph over Moose Jaw. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Childs said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Fraser Childs singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. In his season totals Childs has 3 home runs and a .312 batting average.
