Monday, August 9th, 2038
Doctors in Fort Knox said Roberto Palmeiro might not play anymore this year. The Centennial reliever suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Ogallala Octopi and will be out for at least 10 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

This season he has made 23 relief appearances, collecting 1 save. Palmeiro has worked 41.2 innings, yielding 37 hits and giving out 16 free passes while striking out 50. He has a 6-4 record with a 2.59 ERA.
