Ballard's Haines Sidelined for Season Sunday, August 1st, 2038 The season is ending on a bad note for Dan Haines, first baseman for the Ballard Beavers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Haines was hurt against the Memphis Music while running the bases. He suffered a broken kneecap and will be out for at least 8 months. To date this year Haines is batting .259 with no home runs. |
