Clement and Stuut Suspended for Free-for-All
Monday, June 7th, 2038
If there wasn't a history between Gregory Clement of Ft. Polk South and Aad Stuut of Yakima, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 2 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Clement said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
This season Clement has delivered 32 hits in 110 at-bats for a .291 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .398 clip and his totals also include 29 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This year Clement has played in 30 games.
Season-to-date, Stuut has rung up no saves in 12 relief appearances. He has 18 strikeouts and 14 walks in 21 innings while registering a 6.43 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record.
