Premier Player Named by USPL Double A

Igme Samson took USPL Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25.
For his spectacular campaign, the Minnesota Loons star has been named the 2038 USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman.
On the season he compiled a .341 batting average to go with a .423 on-base percentage. The native of San Carlos, Philippines also added 19 doubles, 2 triples, 19 home runs, 72 RBIs and 63 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. David de Meij of the Atlantic City Sonics finished second in voting, while Guan-pei Bei of the Atlantic City Sonics finished third.
