PAA's #1 Starter is de la Fuente Friday, October 1st, 2038 In September, Nick de la Fuente tore through the USPL Double A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Atlantic City starter posted a 3-0 mark and an ERA of 1.90 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 23.2 innings he collected 10 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .217 average. In his career stats, de la Fuente has won 15 and lost 17, collecting 112 strikeouts and 102 walks in 270.1 innings with a 4.46 ERA. Opponents have hit .285 against him. |
