No Late-Season Magic Coming: Virginia Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 15th, 2038 The Virginia Palladium Sox season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Virginia has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," closer Héctor Cantú said wistfully. Virginia last appeared in the postseason in 2036. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Palladium Sox have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
