Postseason Bid Ends for San Bernardino Monday, September 6th, 2038 It wasn't meant to be for the San Bernardino Grasshoppers this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Grasshoppers starting pitcher Marcus Morgan. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." San Bernardino last appeared in the postseason in 2036. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Grasshoppers have missed the playoffs 6 times. San Bernardino last won the PL AA Championship in 2034. |
