Chesapeake Loses Todd for Year Thursday, September 2nd, 2038 Jason Todd of the Continentals just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Chesapeake reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Yakima Hops recently at Hops Park. Todd suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Continentals medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. For the season Todd has made 15 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and a 1.91 ERA. In pitching 28.1 innings, he has totaled 22 strikeouts and 12 walks. |
