Week's Top Player: Atlantic City's Rodríguez Monday, August 23rd, 2038 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Luis Rodríguez of the Atlantic City Sonics reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rodríguez rocked opposing pitching for a .462 average (12-for-26), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. For the year Rodríguez is batting .248 with 83 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 36 times and driven in 48. |
