Grasshoppers Svendsen Out Rest Of Season Tuesday, August 10th, 2038 The season is ending on a bad note for Aksel Svendsen, starting pitcher for the San Bernardino Grasshoppers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Svendsen was hurt against the Atlantic City Sonics while throwing a pitch. He suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 12 months. This season-to-date, Svendsen has fashioned a 0-0 mark and 3.71 ERA in 26.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .248 against him and he has logged 24 strikeouts. |
