Best Starter Chosen by USSL Double A Wednesday, September 1st, 2038 In August, Greg Hoover tore through the USSL Double A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Ithaca starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 2.50 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 36 innings he collected 31 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .239 average. This season Hoover has gone 4-1 with an ERA of 2.38, posting 39 strikeouts in 41.2 innings. |
