SAA Player of the Week Awarded Monday, August 30th, 2038 So far in his young career, Nick Harper has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Tacoma Fur Traders second baseman hit at a torrid .533 clip as he collected 8 hits in 15 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season Harper has delivered 95 hits in 320 at-bats for a .297 average with 10 home runs. He is getting on base at a .382 clip and his totals also include 48 RBIs and 55 runs scored. This year Harper has played in 85 games. |
