League Suspends Lancaster's Pacheco Tuesday, August 17th, 2038 In Lancaster the Farmers got the news of Alfonso Pacheco's 2-game suspension. The 26-year-old third baseman appeared to make contact with an umpire while arguing balls and strikes during yesterday's game against the Shuckers. Pacheco told reporters that he did not grab anybody. "It is one thing to throw me out of the game for arguing, but that is not enough to kick me out for 2 games." Pacheco is presently batting .258 with 3 home runs, 29 runs scored and 33 RBIs. His OBP is .353. |
