Year Ends for Ánibal Leobardo in Irving Saturday, August 7th, 2038 When Irving center fielder Ánibal Leobardo was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Blue Sox-Love Boats game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Leobardo had sustained a ruptured medial collateral ligament and will be out for about 10 months. Thus far this season in 12 games Leobardo is batting .360 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 18 hits in 50 at-bats. |
