Playoffs? No Chance for Olympia Saturday, July 31st, 2038 Did anyone think the Olympia Ogres had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Ogres have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 23 years as a USSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2032. In the last 10 seasons, the Ogres have missed the playoffs 8 times. Olympia has won the SL AA Championship 2 times in their history. |
