Youth Dunn Blanks Farmers Sunday, July 25th, 2038 "Good pitching beats good hitting" is an old baseball adage. Well, good pitching also beats bad hitting. Matt Dunn of the Phoenix Hotspur Youth proved the point at Farmers Field today, holding the Lancaster Farmers to 6 hits in a complete game shutout victory. "Dunn made us look real bad today," Farmers manager Luis Barroco said in his postgame interview. "He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking." Dunn had 5 strikeouts and gave up no walks as the Youth took the 6-0 win.
