Year Over for Rawhides Jasso Saturday, September 4th, 2038 The season is finished for Mauro Jasso of the Belvedere Park Rawhides. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Rawhides center fielder suffered a torn meniscus while making a defensive play in a recent game against the Durham Rapiers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. So far this season Jasso has 8 home runs and a .255 batting average. |
