Fain Records Shutout Against Belvedere Park Thursday, August 12th, 2038 John Fain shut down the Belvedere Park Rawhides today, blanking them 1-0 on 3 hits, ringing up 7 strikeouts and allowing no walks. The Casper Ghosts pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Fain said after the game. "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there." Up to now Fain has recorded a record of 7-7. In 15 starts he has fanned 39 batters in 88.1 innings with a 4.48 ERA.
