M3L Double A #1 Hurler is LaBarge Thursday, July 1st, 2038 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Jared LaBarge put together a very solid month to take home the M3L Double A's top pitching honor in June. The 23-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In no relief appearances he raked in no saves and 13 strikeouts in 30.2 innings as he put together his 3-0 record and 1.17 ERA. This year LaBarge has pitched 53.1 innings over no relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .241 average. LaBarge has a 6-1 record with a 2.02 ERA and 27 strikeouts. |
