Un-four-gettable: Baars Hits for Cycle Sunday, May 30th, 2038 Alloway's Govaart Baars accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Baars finished 4-for-5 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored and helped the Halberds knock off the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves 7-2 at Thunderbirds Stadium. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Baars told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Govaart Baars struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off José Santiago in the 9th.
