SAAA Names Outstanding Hitter Award Winner

The future looks extremely bright for Chan-ho Shinn. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in USSL Triple A.
Shinn has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .324 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes star also put up a .378 on-base percentage this year, with 135 hits, 22 doubles, no triples, 40 home runs, 111 RBIs and 83 runs scored.
He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. James Pike of the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Iiri Haapajarvi of the Memphis Redbirds finished third.
