Lake Monsters Captures Wild Card Sunday, September 19th, 2038 It came down to the wire for the Vermont Lake Monsters, but they have clinched a spot in the USSL Triple A postseason. "We wanted the Silver AAA division, but once that wasn't possible, it was tunnel vision to try to get the wild card," said reliever Billy Grange. "We feel we've got as good a chance as any other team now that we're in the playoffs." The team currently sits with a 61-41 record and will be vying for their 2nd SL AAA Championship championship. |
