Santa Barbara Crowned Kings of the Silver AAA Tuesday, September 7th, 2038 Let loose, Santa Barbara fans, your team has won the Silver AAA. The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes have officially captured the crown, the 3rd in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said center fielder James Pike. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 65-31 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 3rd USSL Triple A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Lockwood Rose. "This is what you play for." |
