Hits Galore: Kichikawa Drills 5 Hits Monday, August 30th, 2038 It was a great day at the plate for Shihei Kichikawa. For his Sacramento Redlegs, the day was not nearly as good. The third baseman collected 5 hits in 8 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Plymouth Rocks snatched the victory, topping the Redlegs by a score of 8-7. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Kichikawa said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Shihei Kichikawa tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 12th, struck out in the 15th and singled in the 17th.
