SAAA's Top Player, Díaz of Hialeah Monday, August 9th, 2038 Hialeah Dodos left fielder Jorge Díaz had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the USSL Triple A named him Player of the Week. Díaz banged out 8 hits in 15 at-bats on the way to a .533 batting average. He also racked up 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Díaz is swinging at a .243 pace on the year with 17 home runs, 63 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has played in 67 games. |
