Baars Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, July 26th, 2038 Govaart Baars burst onto the USSL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie second baseman for Alloway garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .571 (8-for-14) with no home runs and 6 RBIs last week. This year Baars has hit at a .310 clip with 39 RBIs, 7 home runs and 33 runs scored. |
