Sacramento's Sabadodíaz Gets SAAA Player of the Week Monday, July 19th, 2038 23-year-old Wilson Sabadodíaz made a few Sacramento headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .480 average. Sabadodíaz collected no home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This season Sabadodíaz is swinging the bat at a .282 rate with 37 hits in 131 at-bats. To date he has hit 1 home run, scored 17 runs and driven in 14. |
