Cruz Picks up SAAA Monthly Pitching Honor Thursday, July 1st, 2038 Jesús Cruz hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning USSL Triple A Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In June the Alloway starter earned a 3-1 mark in 5 starts. He threw 34 innings, struck out 25 and compiled a solid 2.65 ERA. Up to now Cruz has compiled an ERA of 2.02 with a 4-1 mark over 11 starts. He has 71 strikeouts in 75.2 innings and has held opponents to a .170 batting average. |
