Gallegos Breezes to Shutout Victory Tuesday, September 14th, 2038 "Good pitching beats good hitting" is an old baseball adage. Well, good pitching also beats bad hitting. Sergio Gallegos of the Texas Bronze Sox proved the point at Lookouts Ballpark today, holding the Bloomington Longnecks to 5 hits in a complete game shutout victory. "Gallegos made us look real bad today," Longnecks manager Coy Knight said in his postgame interview. "He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking."
